Engine, exhaust, parking and chassis sensors for Land Rover models.
Matching sensors to a Range Rover (L460)
The Range Rover (L460) (2022–present) was sold here with 3 different engines. Gearbox: Automatic. Send the VIN and engine number with your enquiry so the parts team can confirm the correct sensors before quoting.

- AJ20-D6 idler pulley recall. An NCC-published recall covers selected Range Rovers sold from March 2024 to June 2024: the auxiliary belt idler pulley on certain AJ20-D6 diesels can over-rotate and damage the oil pressure and temperature sensor, causing an oil leak. Dealers replace the pulley free. Recall work is done free at Land Rover dealers.

Understanding Range Rover (L460) Sensors
Sensors give the control modules the information they need. Engine sensors include crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, the mass airflow (MAF) sensor, boost and fuel pressure sensors, and coolant temperature sensors. Diesels add DPF pressure and exhaust temperature sensors, and newer diesels with AdBlue systems use NOx sensors. Around the vehicle there are parking sensors, wheel speed sensors and ride height sensors.
A faulty sensor can put the engine into limp mode, disable safety systems or cause poor running, so reading the fault codes before replacing anything saves money.

Common Questions About Range Rover (L460) sensors
Which sensor is causing my engine light?
Read the fault codes with a diagnostic tool that covers Land Rover. A code points to a circuit, not always a failed sensor, so check the wiring and connector before replacing the part.
Can a faulty MAF sensor cause limp mode on a Land Rover diesel?
Yes. A dirty or failing MAF sensor can cause poor power, smoke and limp mode. Check for air leaks and a blocked air filter at the same time.
Why do my parking sensors beep all the time?
Dirt, mud or a damaged sensor usually causes constant beeping. Clean the sensors first, then test them. A failed sensor may need painting to match the bumper.
What should I send when ordering a sensor?
The VIN, the fault code and the part number from the old sensor if you can read it. Many sensors look alike but differ in range and connector.
