AdBlue and DPF faults on diesels
Diesels from 2016 use AdBlue SCR with sensitive NOx sensors, and all diesels carry a DPF that blocks with short-trip use.

Exhaust and emissions parts for Land Rover diesels and petrols, including DPF and EGR components.
Exhaust and emissions parts on the Range Rover Sport (L494) depend on the engine: the diesels (3.0 SDV6 turbodiesel and 4.4 SDV8 turbodiesel) use emissions hardware that the petrol engines (3.0 SCV6 supercharged petrol, 5.0 supercharged V8 petrol (SVR) and 3.0 six-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol (P360, HST; later models)) do not, and manifolds, pipes and sensors differ between them.
Diesels from 2016 use AdBlue SCR with sensitive NOx sensors, and all diesels carry a DPF that blocks with short-trip use.
On the L494, owners most often ask for air suspension parts, turbochargers, water pumps and radiators, oil leak gaskets and seals, and NOx sensors and DPFs for the diesels.
The usual causes are a failed gasket at the manifold or downpipe, a split flexi joint, a rusted pipe or silencer, or a loose clamp. A workshop can find the leak quickly with the vehicle on a lift.
Yes. Land Rover exhausts are made in sections, so you can replace just the damaged section. Fit new gaskets, clamps and rubber mounts at the joints you disturb.
For how these parts work and the signs of wear, read the Land Rover exhaust guide.
Share the VIN and engine number and the SparesBoyz parts team will check fitment before quoting.
