Understanding Left Mirror
Door mirrors on modern Land Rovers are complex assemblies. Depending on the model and trim, they can include heated glass, electric adjustment, power folding, an indicator, a puddle lamp, a blind-spot warning light and a surround-view camera. Classic Defenders use simple arm-mounted mirrors.
On right-hand-drive vehicles, the left mirror is on the passenger side and is often clipped by passing obstacles on narrow tracks. Individual parts such as the glass, cover or indicator can usually be replaced without buying the whole mirror.

Common Questions About Land Rover left mirror
Can I replace only the mirror glass?
Yes, on most models. Make sure the replacement has the same features, such as heating or auto-dimming, and the correct connectors.
Why won't my mirror fold?
A failed fold motor, a fault in the mirror wiring or a jammed mechanism after an impact. Check if the other mirror folds; if neither does, check the switch and fuse.
Does a mirror with a camera need calibrating?
If the mirror contains a surround-view camera, the camera system may need calibration after replacement.
What should I send to order a left mirror?
The VIN, paint code for the cover, and the features: heated, power fold, indicator, puddle lamp, blind-spot or camera.
