Understanding Right Front Wing (Fender)

The right front wing sits on the driver's side of right-hand-drive Land Rovers. On many models it also carries a side repeater or badge, and on overland vehicles one of the front wings is often cut to fit a raised air intake, known as a snorkel.

Wings are often damaged in low-speed knocks. On modern Land Rovers, the headlight, bumper and wheel arch liner are removed to fit a replacement.

Questions

Common Questions About Land Rover right front wing (fender)

Will fitting a snorkel damage my wing?

A snorkel needs a hole cut in the wing and must be properly sealed and braced. A poorly fitted snorkel can crack the panel or let water in. Fit a kit designed for your model.

Are left and right front wings interchangeable?

No. They are mirror images with different mounting points, so order the correct side.

Should I replace the wheel arch liner at the same time?

If it is torn or its clips are broken, yes. A damaged liner lets mud and water into the engine bay and wiring.

What should I send to order a right front wing?

The VIN, paint code, and any accessories such as a snorkel that affect the panel.

Not sure which part fits?

Send your VIN or engine code and the SparesBoyz parts team will check fitment before quoting. Parts are couriered nationwide.
